Dong A University and a 13-Year Journey of Gratitude for Gac Ma
On March 14, at the incense-offering ceremony commemorating the 38th anniversary of the Gac Ma event (March 14, 1988 – March 14, 2026), held at Nai Nam Communal House in Da Nang, Dong A University presented 10 support packages (valued at 1 million VND each) to families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives at Gac Ma Island.
At the ceremony, more than 30 students from Dong A University joined in expressing their gratitude and respectfully offering incense in tribute to the 64 soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Navy who heroically fell at Gac Ma on March 14, 1988. They also extended their care and encouragement to the martyrs’ families.
This marks the 13th consecutive year that Dong A University has accompanied this meaningful series of remembrance activities-an event that serves as a powerful historical reminder of the soldiers’ loyalty and determination to defend every sacred inch of the nation’s land and sea.
During the program, the university’s Board of Management respectfully expressed their gratitude and presented gifts to the families of the Gac Ma martyrs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Vice Rector of Dong A University, stated: “The Gac Ma remembrance event is a vivid historical lesson that educates today’s students about patriotism, the resilient will to protect the homeland, and the value of peace-encouraging them to continuously strive in their studies and contribute to the country.

ドンア大学、ガクマ島殉職者追悼への13年間にわたる歩み
去る3月14日、ダナン市のナイナム（Nại Nam）村会館にて、ガクマ島事案（1988年3月14日—2026年3月14日）38周年を迎える追悼式典が執り行われました。こちらでドンア大学は、島で殉職された遺族の皆様へ10件の支援金（各100万ドン）を贈呈いたしました。
式典には30名を超えるドンア大学の学生が参列し、1988年3月14日に勇気を持って祖国のために犠牲となった64名のベトナム人民海軍兵士に対し、深い感謝と敬意を込めて焼香を行いました。また、学生たちは遺族の方々を温かく見舞い、感謝の意を伝えました。
こちらは、ドンア大学がこの意義深い追悼活動に同行し続けて、今年で13年目となります。これは、祖国の神聖な領土と海域を最後まで守り抜こうとした兵士たちの忠誠心という、歴史の輝かしい足跡を語り継ぐ大切な行事です。
式典において、ドンア大学の理事会はガクマ島殉職者のご遺族に対し、深い敬意を表すとともに追悼の品を贈呈いたしました。また、ディン・タイン・ヴィエット副学長は、『この活動は学生たちにとって、愛国心や祖国を守る強い意志、そして平和の尊さを学ぶ生きた歴史教育であり、絶えず学び、故郷や国に貢献していくための大きな糧となるでしょう』と述べました。

东亚大学连续13年参与赤瓜礁感恩纪念活动。
- 3月14日在岘港奈南村祠堂举行的赤瓜礁事件38周年纪念仪式上东亚大学向烈士家属颁发了 10份慰问金。30余名东亚大学学生 参加了纪念仪式。大家共同缅怀在1988年3月14日赤瓜礁海战中英勇牺牲的64位越南人民海军战士。这也是东亚大学连续第13年 参与这一意义深远的赤瓜礁纪念活动。
- 活动中东亚大学领导向赤瓜礁烈士家属致以崇高的敬意并赠送慰问品。东亚大学副校长丁成越副教授在致辞中表示：“赤瓜礁纪念活动是一堂 生动的历史课。它教育当代大学生传承爱国主义精神发扬保卫祖国的坚定意志并深刻理解和平的珍贵价值。从而更加努力学习为国家和社会的发展贡献自己的力量。” 该活动不仅铭记历史也激励青年学生继承先辈精神为国家的发展不断努力。

Đại học Đông Á và hành trình 13 năm tri ân Gạc Ma
Ngày 14/3, tại Lễ dâng hương tưởng niệm 38 năm sự kiện Gạc Ma (14/3/1988 – 14/3/2026) tổ chức tại đình làng Nại Nam, Đà Nẵng, trường Đại học Đông Á trao 10 suất hỗ trợ (trị giá 1 triệu/suất) đến gia đình thân nhân liệt sĩ hi sinh tại đảo Gạc Ma.
Tham dự tại buổi lễ, hơn 30 bạn sinh viên Đại học Đông Á đã cùng nhau dành lòng biết ơn, thành kính dâng hương tri ân 64 chiến sĩ Hải quân nhân dân Việt Nam anh dũng hi sinh tại đảo Gạc Ma ngày 14/3/1988; ân cần thăm hỏi các gia đình thân nhân liệt sĩ Gạc Ma.
Đây là năm thứ 13 liên tiếp Đại học Đông Á đồng hành cùng chuỗi hoạt động tri ân Gạc Ma ý nghĩa này – sự kiện nhắc nhở về dấu son lịch sử thể hiện lòng trung thành của người lính quyết tâm bảo vệ đến cùng từng tấc đất, sải biển thiêng liêng của Tổ quốc.
Tại chương trình, Ban Giám hiệu Đại học Đông Á đã thành kính tri ân và trao quà đến các gia đình thân nhân liệt sĩ Gạc Ma. Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, PGS.TS Đinh Thành Việt – Phó Hiệu trưởng Đại học Đông Á nhận định: “Sự kiện tri ân Gạc Ma là bài học lịch sử sống động giáo dục thế hệ sinh viên hôm nay về truyền thống yêu nước, ý chí kiên cường bảo vệ Tổ quốc và thấu hiểu giá trị của hoà bình, để không ngừng nỗ lực học tập, đóng góp cho quê hương đất nước.”
